General Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

  • MS (Orthopaedics)
  • DNB (Orthopaedics)
  • D.Ortho
  • Age ceiling: Less than 45 years old

Selection Process

Strict screening protocols deployed via systematic administrative scrutiny of the structural application form and clinical CV profiles.

Completion & Exit Criteria

  • Full structural completion of designated term of fellowship
  • Submission of comprehensive clinical Log Book validated by all society board members
  • Submission of official Fellowship Completion Report
  • Successful clearance of administrative exit interview panels

1. KASS Arthroscopy Fellowship

Guide: Dr. Debasis Chatterjee

Duration: 6 months paid fellowship with hands-on training.

Activities: Covers Indoor management, OPD operations, Surgery, and Research assignments.

Extension: Fellowship may be extended by another 6 months upon formal request.

2. KASS Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship

Guide: Dr. Kanchan Bhattacharyya

Duration: 6 months paid fellowship with hands-on training.

Activities: Covers Indoor management, OPD operations, Surgery, and Research assignments.

Extension: Fellowship may be extended by another 6 months upon formal request.

3. KASS-AHERF Arthroscopy and Sports Surgery Fellowship

Supported by: Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Grant

Guide: Dr. M. N. Basu Mallick

2 Seats Available / Year

Duration: 1 Year (Split across January and July sections).

Stipend: At par with the post of Junior Registrar rank (₹50,000 / month).

4. KASS-JBCH Arthroscopy and Adult Reconstruction

Guide: Dr. Rajeev Raman

Duration: 6 months paid fellowship with hands-on training.

Stipend: At par with the post of Junior Registrar rank (₹50,000 / month).

Activities: Covers Indoor management, OPD operations, Surgery, and Research assignments.

5. KASS TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP

Guide: Dr. Sunit Hazra

Duration: As desired by the candidate (Flexible framework timeline anywhere between 6 to 16 weeks).

Stipend: Direct variance calculation depending strictly on the absolute duration of terms chosen.

Activities: Comprehensive dynamic hands-on instructional training arrays hosted across different clinical centers monitored under the primary guide.

6. KASS TRAVELLING OBSERVERSHIP PROGRAM

Non-Stipendiary

KASS is pleased to announce the launch of a 2-week Travelling Observership Program with renowned arthroscopic surgeons of Kolkata.

Duration: 3 Weeks

Course Coordinator: Dr. Suresh Kejriwal

Faculty allocation: Faculty will be allotted uniquely once your application is formally accepted.
